International Tastes

Ive been abroad to Ireland for a full week so after coming home and sleeping my jet lag off, My roommate and I decided to treat ourselves to an amazing brunch. This particular place we know someone who used to valet for, and Lauren went there before.
You should make a reservation if you're ever going there, especially for brunch which we forgot to do and also, if you ever go, makes sure that you ask for the special brunch menu that's available until 11. The menu allows you to have the delicious cornbread, appetizer and main meal all for the low price of $7. Unfortunately, we went after noon, so we were limited to the regular menu. We still ate the delicious cornbread, which has three different jams or butters.
I ordered the Huevos Rancheros and Lauren got the Southwestern Eggs Benedict. I would highly reccomend them, if you ever get the chance go Saturday or Sunday before 11 to get a real treat!

Also, I know that I missed a post last week because I was in another country, however, I did sample some awesome food while I was there. Our friend Ryan decided that he would "prove that not all food in Ireland sucked" by bringing us to this classy restaurant. Not all food in Ireland sucks by the way, they just don't have a lot of food we're used to eating. He brought us to a place called The Farm which much to our dismay does not have any animals, but is all organic.
They have an Early bird menu that you can choose from and get three courses for a discounted price. For an appetizer I got a Asian green salad. For my main course, everyone else got the Risotto, but I got the Pork. My favorite part of the meal was my desert, which was a Raspberry Meringue.
